It's long long ago, maybe before I can read english books. I don't rememberwhich movie edition I had seen. But I was impressed by the music, the sceneryand the costume. I was very favor of a section of music in its balls. It's
pretty brisk, liked a wonderful song of a bird. Regarding to thecharacters, I liked Elizabeth, the heroine,though I didn't think she'sbeautiful. But she's smart. However, I didn't pay much attention to the plot. Ithought it's so long that it made me impatient and bored. By now, I haven't readthe whole story in English or its Chinese version, either. I owe it to myprejudice.
In fact, I didn't understand the story at that time. I didn't know why itcalled Pride and Prejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didn't findwhere' s the prejudice. I thought it's normal, the way people treated each otherin that. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting.

I first read this book when I was in my fifteens. And now I remember itjust as well as if I had read it yesterday.

In fact, I didnt understand the story at that time. I didnt know why itcalled Pride and Prejudice. Of course someone was pride, but I didnt find wheres the prejudice. I thought its normal, the way people treated each other inthat. I considered prejudice would be very disgusting. But to the movieeverthing was OK in my minds, except its length. 有时你接着读下去会发现这个词频繁出现了很多次，那么你就知道这是一个跟这篇文章主题关联很大的关键词，有很大可能需要重点记忆。同时你也有更多的上下文语境可以帮助你猜测这个词的意思，如果还是猜不出来，依然是放着别管，继续读下去，直到读完全文为止。
2、第二遍，以单词为单位的部分精读。
好了，你现在读完一遍，应该多多少少把握了这篇文章的中心思想和主要内容了（这里请注意你这个把握度能达到多少，这关系着你选择的材料是否适应你自己的水平。如果只能把握50%以下——即全文一半以上对你来说都不知所云，那可能是你选得太困难了，降低点标准，找更容易些的文章。
