Last sunday,my classmates and I were taken to the Old People House by our teacher.
We were happy because we made the old people laugh. Some students help the old people cleaned the house.Some students danced for them .Some sutdents were chat with them. Soon one day passed.We must went home. We were so happy that forgot tired. What a funny day!
Today my classmates and I went to the Home for the Elderly to have our deepest sympathies with the old by bus at 2'clock p.m..With pleasure,we helped the old clean their clothes and sweep the floor.We talked things happened in our young life,and heard them talk the beauty days in their past time. Even thought this work looked very hard,we felt happy. During the short 3 hours in the Home for the Elderly,we deeply realized that-- it's important to look after the old and respect them. How time flies, we had to say goodbye in the end,and promised to visit them next time.And then the same bus took us back.

Today, we all kick out of the campus with students, carrying a small gifts gifts ready to nursing homes to visit "grandpa" and "grandma"!!!

The students are very excited! Even some students also specially to visit in the room is not convenient to grandparents, and send you my heartfelt blessing and the gift of love! Time is always short, we want to say goodbye and grandparents, we reluctantly left the nursing homes, some grandparents also seems to us, send us to the door, eyes full of happy and grateful tears from time to time, and revealed a smile.
Although, these old people living in nursing homes, seems alright, environment also sounds good, but, every day every night at miss their own family, very sad, no family care, very poor! Now, in my eyes, like a lonely old people, weak and innocent birds, they need help, care and love, and considerate. But, just so that it is not enough, we need more people, do more, for all the old people of the world, to create a more beautiful home, and I will let them know, there are not relatives, but better than loved ones still care about them, love them, help them, considerate them!!
The school is holding an event to allow students to go to visit homes for the aged grandfather, grandma had. The teacher said, this is the week where Grandpa. Each student is done in full swing, too busy to clean up homes for the elderly up and down too dry clean, spotless. Although it has long been sweating profusely, but not one student complained, called tired, and called dirty. On the return trip, I know a lot. We were very happy and so were the old. When we had to say goodbye to them, they really didn't want us to go. They thanked us a lot and we really moved by them. Although we did very little,it meant a lot to the old. So next time, if we had chance, we would come again.
Student Volunteers Brought Sunshine to the Elderly
On May Day, Li Yue and Zhang Hua, students from Class Three, Crade Two, went to Sunshine Nursing
Home and did some voluntary work. Upon their arrival, Li Yue and Zhang Hua were warmly welcomed, and
respectfully they presented the elderly with flowers and fruits. Then, they started working at once, cleaning
the windows and sweeping the floor. Everything done, they sat in the yard chatting with the elderly people.
When it was time for the volunteers to leave, the elderly people thanked them for their kindness. They said
it was such a beautiful day that they would remember it forever.
Li Yue and Zhang Hua were very happy. What they did has brought joy to others and enriched their own
lives.
