Well, its quite a question argued by people all the time. I think a persons personality has little relation to his family economic level. Its commonly said that a child in rich family will has more chances and better choice for his study. However, if the kid himself isnt aware of this, that is all in vain. Its not unusual that many children from rich family are quite rude and conceited although they are always receive the best education. Then, how about the poor familys children? There is another saying that adversity cultivates heroes. To be honest, I disagree with it too. Poor children should learn harder and catch every chance to strengthen themselves. However, the reality is often not like that. Subjectively speaking, poor children are easy to feel inferior and thus cant study well. Even if they study well, they hardly do well in practicing ability. Objectively speaking, poor children can hardly receive good and plentiful education because of the economic limit. A dream is to a man what wings are to a bird. With a dream in the deepheart`s core, a man is spontaneously driven to hitch his wagon to a star. Adream is an inexhaustible source of energy that keeps our enthusiasm burning,and kindles our desire to enhance our spiritual cultivation, refine ourcharacter, and upgrade our quality of life. A life without a dream is like abird with broken wings, confined to a cage and oblivious of what lies beyond therange of its vision. On the contrary, a man with a dream is like a warrior armedwith ambition, foresight and gallantry, daring to step into an unknown domain tomake a journey of adventure. It is dream that adds fullness, variety, and spiceto our life and makes it worth living.
I would like to take Liu Xiang as an example.Liu,as the first chinese manto win an Olympic track and field medal,dreamed of defending his Olympic titleon home soil.To achieve this dream,he was bathed with sweat on the trainingground every day.What’s more,now and then he suffered injuries.However,neitherthe injury nor the pressure has prevented him from striving to achieve thegoal.Eventually,he kept or even renewed his record in the men’s 110-meter hurdlewith his perseverance.

most people they raise a family, they earn a living a-n-d then they die.they stop growing, they stop working on themselves, they stop stretching, thestop pushing themselves. then a lot of people like to complain but they don’twanna do anything about their situation. a-n-d most people don’t work on theirdreams – why?

you have spent so much time with other people, you have spent so much timetrying to get people to like you, you know other people mo-re than you knowyourself. you’ve studied them, you know about them, you want to hang out withthem, you want to be just like them. you’ve invested so much time on them, youdon’t know who you are. i challenge you to spend time by yourself.
it’s necessary, that you get the losers out of your life, if you want tolive your dream. but people who are running towards their dreams, life has aspecial kind of meaning. when you become the ‘right-person’, what you do is youstart separating yourself from other people you begin to have a certainuniqueness, as long as you follow other people, as long as you are being a‘copy-cat’, you will never ever be the best copy-cat in the world but you willbe the best you can be!
i challenge you to define your value.
everybody won’t see it, everybody won’t join you, everybody won’t have thevision…it’s necessary to know that you are an uncommon breed. it’s necessarythat you align yourself with people a-n-d attract people into your business, whoare hungry, people who are unstoppable a-n-d unreasonable, people who arerefusing to live life just as it is a-n-d who want mo-re!
the people that are living their dreams are parting with winners, to attachthemselves to the a-n-d the people who are living their dreams are the peoplethat know that if it’s going to happen it’s up to them!
if you want to be mo-re successful, if you want to have a-n-d do stuff younever done before then i’m asking you to invest in you! someone’s opinion of youdoes not have to become your reality. you don’t have to go through life being avictim. a-n-d even though you face disappointments, you have to know withinyourself that ‘i can do this, even if no one else sees it for me, i must see itfor myself!’
no matter how bad it is, how hard it gets, say to yourself, i’m going tomake it!
i wanna represent an idea. i wanna represent possibilities. some of youright now, you wanna go to the next level. you wanna be a civil engineer, youwanna council, you wanna be a doctor.
listen to me: you can’t get to that level. you can’t get to that leveluntil you start to invest in your mind.
i dare you to invest in your mind.
i dare you to invest time. i dare you to be alone. i dare you to spend anhour alone to get to know yourself. i challenge you to get to a place wherepeople do not like o-r do not even bother you anymore. why? because you’re notconcerned with making them happy anyway. because you’re trying to blow up.you’re trying to get to the next level. because you’re investing in yourmind.

after school, a thing ing as a surprise happened on me on my way back home. when i was riding suddenly a crowed of people rushed out to stopped my bike.i recogized them at once. they were my senior clas *** ates. they all lained to me,“why don't you tell us about your birthday? don't you fear that we will let you stand treat? this time you owe us.” then each of them gave a gift and a card with best wishes to me. i was deeply moved again. i suggested having a dinner together. but they all refused because of the time. then they left me saying we would ask you to pay us another day!
when i got back home, i thought of everything happened today. suddenly i felt so happy because i had such great friends around me. i thanked them from the bottom of my heart. i would value the precious friendship forever!
i have so many feelings through that special day. the only rose without thorns in the world is friendship. a true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart. truly great friends are hard to find, difficult to leave, and impossible to forget. one friend in a lifetime is much, two are many, three are hardly possible. stick to make friends, forlife without friends is like life on a desert island. to find one real friend in a lifetime is good fortune, to keep him is a blessing.

65 years ago, James lived in Qingdao. Then he was only 5 years old. Heoften visited the Aquarium and was fascinated by a creature on display there,which he thought was a dragon. He was afraid of its sharp teeth and wanted oneto keep as a treasure.
He kept the tooth for the next 65 years, but the feeling of guilt at havingstolen it was there in the background all through his life. It was always on hisconscience, and the feeling intensified as he became older. Finally he decidedto put right his childish error. In 20__, he visited Qingdao and returned it tothe Aquarium with his sincere apologies. He received a warm welcome.
When James visited Qingdao, I accompanied him all the time and reported onhis visit. I was deeply touched by his honesty. It has taught me a lot. I thinkto err is human. The important thing is to have the courage to admit and correctone’s error.
