The next day, a doctor came to see me. Hetold me that I could die if I didn't stop taking crack cocaine, so I took his advice and stoppedimmediately. Now I work in a centre for drug addicts, helping others to stop takingdrugs.

Cocaine is a powerfully addictivedrug. Some drug users injectcocaine, others smoke it. Both ways are dangerous.Users who inject the drug are also in more danger if they share needles with other users.
